Want to normalize a 1-D variance spectrum via function specnorm or normspec.
This does not seem to work the way it is intended. The spectrum is changed,
the total variance is lower but not unity the peak frequency has shifted.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Trying the example in the help file one gets mts=[3.0608 1.6773]. You are
supposed to get mts=[1 1].

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.1.1 and 2.5 on windows 7
