I think i got it mostly working, but when I try to use the default test.pl program, I get the following with debug:
/bin/ld: cannot find -lperl
I did a virgin install with a systemwide install. Using perl that comes with centos 7.5 5.16.3.
It does try to run but then dies.

I figured it out I just symlinked the one in /lib64/perl5/core/libperl.so to /lib64 We might want to do that in the install doc.....
