Our campus has a well equipped football ground. Also, this year there will be addition of slalom poles, hurdles of different heights, training ladder etc. in our inventory. These equipments help our players to improve their individual skills but that cannot be done without proper guidance wherein the role of the coach comes and we are very lucky to have a coach like Mr. Biswajit Pegu. It is said that an expert in something was once a beginner and our coach contributes a lot in making this statement true.

In India cricket is a religion which unites the whole nation. And here at IIT Bhubaneswar we have all the facilities that can help a student develop his cricketing skills and live his dreams. In our permanent campus at Arugul we have our cricket ground beside the boys hostel which includes an installed practice net. All the required equipment and gears for practice sessions as well as matches are provided by the gymkhana along with appointment of a suitable and experienced coach.

From this year our institute is coming up with a SAC containing 3 well facilated badminton indoor court along with all the necessary equipment required for badminton . Badminton is not only a fun game but also it makes us physically and mentally fit and also teaches us many important skills like coordination, increase responding power which is also useful in our social life.As we all know physical fitness is as important as our studies. So just pull your socks and join with the best sports you prefer . Get ready for the chance.

A good athlete is a one with best physique so it gives you motivation to be a part of athletic team at IIT, it is a group of sporting events that involves competitive running, jumping, throwing, and walking. At IIT you will get all the equipments such as javelins, blocks, balls, hammer and even couch for long jump, with international standards fields for practice, and the proper guidance for best techniques and use of equipments and healthy competitive culture ,also unlike team games you can individually take part in it and with maximum number of events in inter IIT sports meet as well as in intra college tournaments ranging from discuss throw to relay races.

Volleyball is one of the most enthusiastically played sport in IIT Bhubaneswar and is committed to
training athletes to perform at their highest level by uniting talented and passionate players.
The facilities available are at par with the best in the world. Every year inductions to the society
are held at the start of the academic year and the selected members undergo a lot of training
and participate in various competitions. We strive to have a positive impact on each and every
individual in our society. One of our main aims is performing well in Inter IIT- a battle where
teams from different IIT's compete against each other in a battle for supremacy. Participation in
volleyball provides athletes with a special opportunity to enhance physical health while learning
the value of teamwork, composure, and perseverance. Ultimately, our mission is to provide a
supportive environment for learning to excel in competition, to create a social community for
club players during their time at the campus and beyond.

Here our campus has phenomenal equipments and with ongoing construction of SAC which is going to have an amazing Table Tennis room with no escape from the opportunity. This sport is becoming more and more popular on our campus day by day and everyone is trying their best to excel in this sport having wonderful guidance from our very dedicated coach and team players. Table tennis as a Sports builds our overall persona and prepares us for life. Opportunity in table tennis is to be created rather than waiting for a ready-made one.

With the availability of sufficient number of rackets it's been a great chance for students to develop their game . Even though we are beginners, it's often prooved that Practise makes man perfect .

<p>
Board games are traditionally a subset of table-top games that involve counters or pieces moved or placed on a pre-marked surface or "board", according to a set of rules. In common parlance, however, a board game need not necessarily contain a physical board. Some games are based on pure strategy, but many contain an element of chance; and some are purely chance, with no element of skill. Games usually have a goal that a player aims to achieve. Early board games represented a battle between two armies, and most modern board games are still based on defeating opponents in terms of counters, winning position, or accrual of points. At IIT Bhubaneswar we have people playing all sorts of board games some of them include chess, carroms etc ..

IIT Bhubaneswar provides its residents with a fully functional gym which is a perfect combo of modern machines and old school weight training. It not only helps you build muscle but also keeps your mental health in a perfect condition.
So be ready to channelise your energy and hit the gym and transform your mind and soul.
