@nsorros and others have reported that the colour codes do not appear correctly in their shells, ressulting in output such as:

`:muscle: \e[0;32m Instance \e[0;34mdatascience_nsorros\e[0;32m started\e[0m`

It would be good to fix this. There are some nice colour shortcuts here: https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/124407/what-color-codes-can-i-use-in-my-ps1-prompt
