I noticed this bug randomly while using the tool, as I use it all the time.
I have U.S in my properNouns, and most of the time it works perfectly, but recently I noticed the word UBS appeared and was replaced with U.S
So I assume and from some testing I've noticed dots aren't treated properly and sort of act as a wildcard.
Sort of related to #7 and #10 in terms of the fact that symbols/characters like this need to be treated more appropriately.
