In the desktop version we have a dropdown list with all semesters available to a user:

For example, after clicking at the "Spring 17" label, the router switches to the semesters selection page.

Maybe it is a good idea to add a list of disciplines for each semester, so students can easily remember what semester do they need.

Caveats

Interaction with backend API is needed.
