I hate to be that guy, but I have to ask. There are two releases and they're almost identical. There are open PRs with no comments. Heck the original dirs as well as directories is unarchived and alive and kicking.

I migrated to this in the great archiving a couple of years ago, but it would be nice to know if this is still actively maintained :)

https://crates.io/crates/app_dirs2 might be the replacement here (where app_dirs was supposedly superseded by directories).

I resigned from this project 2 year ago because of my mental health issue.
Now I'm feeling better and have a little time that could be spent on open-source things.
I'm getting in touch with Dylan-DPC to take care of this project.

@tesuji glad to hear that you're feeling better!

Do note though that the original project this was forked from is back alive (and there's also app_dirs/app_dirs2 now...), so you might as well see if there's anything to salvage from this fork followed by archiving it (and publishing a deprecation warning to crates.io) so that it's clear to end users what crate they should be using going forward, instead of spending a bunch of time maintaining a similar codebase.

Friendly ping here. Archiving and deprecating in favour of other crates seems reasonable given the alternatives available
