Ninja Gaiden Black: Chapter 15 crash before fighting Vigoor Emperor

Bug Description

After defeating Marbus, when I open the gate and go up the stairs, a cutscene of Ryu falling starts, but right after this scene (before starting the cutscene in which Ryu meets Emperor Vigoor) the game freezes and the emulator closes (which can even corrupt the save).

Expected Behavior

The cutscene of Ryu meeting Vigoor Emperor should play, not crashing.

System Information

OS: Windows 11
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600g
GPU: RTX 3060 12GB
GPU driver: 576.352.0

Additional Context

As a precaution, I made a backup of the save and tested two previous versions (v0.8.94 and 0.8.96) to see if the cutscene started normally, but they also crashed and closed the emulator.

Just to check: is there anything interesting in the xemu.log file?

Apparently not, I didn't notice anything that could have caused the crash.

The only "interesting" thing I found was:

dsound: Could not initialize DirectSoundCapture
Reason: No sound driver is available for use, or the given GUID is not a valid DirectSound device ID

But I don't know if that means anything because I was able to play the entire game (and with sound) without any crashes until this chapter. After that, I couldn't finish it (the chapter).
