bbinterface not loading

im not sure what could be causing it but yesterday i loaded up bbzero and got this error:

and now i can't run bbinterface at all

well, i extracted bbzero to a new folder and it runs fine there, so it's something with my install. Is there an error log somewhere i can post?

and now it has the error there too, i think i made it happen by trying to launch bbinterface while itunes was still open

Having multiple versions of blackbox installed, renaming the directory youre running blackbox from, or duplicating/replacing dll versions can cause these errors. If your directory looks like mine
then depending on the version you have launched, or the name of the folder, the blackbox binary you have running can read a different dll version. In my experience with bbzero, you MUST have "blackbox.exe" and all plugins, settings, etc, run from the root directory of bbZero in order to prevent issue. I'll note my full directory: C:\bbZero\plugins\bbinterface_iTunes\bbinterface_iTunes.dll

In any case, general protection faults occur when windows has multiple instances of a dll running. My advice to you is to completely uninstall blackbox, and delete all files and settings associated with blackbox and start with a fresh install. Backing up your settings is very, very easy so the whole process should take you less than 10 minutes.
