Increase of RAM usage (when many images)

Describe the bug
As writing this issue the app just crashed once just after freezing (i think beacuse of the articles' thumbnails). First, images take long to render. And lastly they are displayed jaggy; their dimensions are fit of longer window. Like = 600x600.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to '...'
2. Click on '....'
3. Scroll down to '....'
4. See error

No, but images do cause problems with this app. There should be a work done on it.
