It would be great if the source file (the netlist) for the hardware jpeg was checked in. I assume its drawn in geda or electric or oregano or inkscape or dia? Doesn't look like geda ...

The hardware PDF should also be in editable form: there doesn't seem to be a real need for a pdf, it could be a readme.md
