Could you share the exact command you are running (and possibly the board)? Without the command, it is really hard to guess what might go wrong. I guess you specified the source by annotation, but you provided the wrong annotation component reference. |

I open Kicad project manager
open project to panelize
open pcb from project manager
invoke panelization tool
select board
enter number of rows
hit panelize
this results in one of two outcomes
sometimes PCBNew crashes and window disappears
or
I get error message
Most of the time now since I reinstalled as sudo it just crashes
I included Kicad version info and kikit install log in previous post
PS. Thanks for the interest in helping

Do I get correctly that you:
- open PcbNew,
- load the board that you want to panelize,
- then invoke the panelization tool,
- select the same board as input,
- and hit panelize?

I have a small board with 3 parts, a 10pin nokia display socket and 2x5pin single row headers and have drawn a page border on the edge layer. When I want to panelize it I get the error
Cannot perform
"Footprint with reference" not found
Using Kicad 6 on Fedora 35, all updated, no DRC errors
Any suggestions as to where to look?
