Adding text for v-cut

One of our popular fabs adds text to callout the v-cut offsets.

Is this possible in the current KiKit?

While I don't think it is absolutely required, my general approach to these cheaper fabs is the more we can automate on our end, the less room there is for error on their end.

In this case both the lines and text are on the same layer "vcut".

Adding a text isn't a problem. It's actually pretty straightforward change. However - it would be helpful to have some kind of feature proposal. What texts should we support? What's the reference point of the offsets? How much is the text customizable? Etc.

My wishes/suggestions

• It should respect the origin defined in the postprocess setting. So if it's as pictures, it means origin was the bottom right, and it is positive numbers as it goes along the axis.
• Likewise if the origin was top left, it would be negative values
• The origin and the outermost edges of the board dimensions should be plotted, without the "V-CUT" text.
• Each actual v-cut should have the appropriate coordinate with some text
• Specifying the precision and units would probably be useful. Or, if this is defined elsewhere in KiKit, use those values.
• A layer option might be useful. While my use case and this manufacturer prefers all of this be on the Edge.Cuts layer, perhaps some others would want actual V-cut lines on one layer, and these comments/callouts on a fab layer?

I feel bad now. I saw #652, and indeed, JLC is just a nightmare at times. They now consider this text to part of the PCB. :|

They can be so frustrating at times as I don't think there is any connection whatsoever from any of the support folks (chat, email or otherwise) and the back-end developers.

All that to say, it might be necessary to include a layer option so this text can be moved to a Fab layer instead of Edge.Cuts.

I spent an hour or so with some code changes. I'm close but I don't understand how to add a new parameter to VCutSettings. You added one called "textTemplate" despite the parameter being "template" on the command line. Wasn't sure where that was mapped in the code.

As of today (who knows if this remains), JLC no longer considers the V-CUT part of the PCB. They are somehow checking for it, so that's great news!
