You have provided no examples, so I can only guess. My guess is that you enabled contour milling simulation ( |

Sorry to make you guess. Yes, that is exactly what I had done. 😦 That was set to remove the rectangular slots the panelisation creates on the tabs, which then come back as non-manufacturable. I didn’t have the knowledge that setting this post processing option would affect the whole panel. Perhaps that should be obvious to anyone with even a modicum of experience... I now notice that the post processing will also silently changed the radius of internal corners on the board outline so as to conform to the set minimum. Again, as designed. No big issue, it’s also happened on previous panellised projects and I just didn’t notice (no slots on the board for those designs, and it was only a small increase in millradius). As a complete noob I would only ask that if this happens it is somehow made more visible to the user? No idea if that is possible or not? Regardless, thank you for your extremely prompt reply and extensive work on this project. 😃 |

I have some slots drawn on the edge cut layer internal to my board. However every time I panelize this design it seems KiKit throws away my slots and they are no longer present in the output file. What am I doing wrong please?
KiKit version 1.6.0 in KiCad 8.0.8.
