I would like to crop the wallpapers or adjust the background shift settings so that, for example, 16:9 wallpapers retain the parallax effect when moving through the home screens, but the center of the image becomes the background of the lock screen and the first home screen page.
I would suggest an resize method like the current crop method that crops the display frame centered on the wallpaper, but instead of cropping all sides, the pixels on the right side of the frame are left uncropped.

I have searched the existing issues and this is a new ticket, NOT a duplicate or related to another open issue.
I have written a short but informative title.
I will fill out all of the requested information in this form.
