Something went wrong: TSocket: timed out reading 4 bytes from localhost:10000

First i like to thank you! You're example saved a great time in learning Thrift.

I tried your example using 'Http', 
http://localhost:10000/thrift-examples/client/PhpClientHttp.php (It works superbly)

But, trying the same through socket throws this error
http://localhost:10000/thrift-examples/client/PhpClientSocket.php (also tried via terminal)

Using 'Thrift version 0.9.1'
