Two new lines are added before a table

I really like this extension, but it adds two new lines before a table, this is not according to the markdown rules.

Also, would it be possible to open it in the same tab, not have one tab for the code and one for the wysiwyg? This would keep the editor "clean" and I would be able to edit multiple markdown files at once.
