We have a user requesting the ability to map a VM to a specific hypervisor process on the Cloud Stack host.

I have found, at least with KVM, that there is an instance name that we can use to map this fairly easily if we add the instance name to the Virtual Machine component. I plan to add a modeler to map the process on the CS host to the managed device.

Assuming I do this, would it be appropriate to add this to the CS ZenPack, or create a separate zenpack altogether?

It makes sense. I've found myself trying to find the KVM process for a VM on occasion. The complicated part is that KVM is just one of the hypervisor's supported by CloudStack so this would have to be conditional on the hypervisor being KVM.

There's certainly no harm in adding instancename to the Zenoss object for each VM.
