Blocklauncher not working on older version on newer devices?

So i have been playing minecraft with blocklauncher for a long time (version 0.14.0) and when i switched to a newer decive Samsung Galaxy S7 blocklauncher stopped working for me, any reasons why?

If you still code i would want to be able to use it on android 8 or so
I do make mods for it just never release it because its never finished but they are working as intended and are fun to play with

Im trying to flash my phone to downgrade fron 8.0 to 6.0.1 just so i can use blocklauncher, if you could specify what android version it stopped working that would be great.

Do you have the apk of minecraft 1.14.0? (or the version blocklauncher works on)
