I've never seen ntfy.sh before, though sounds like a good idea. I will be taking a look at making a mobile version now ive got some of the other tasks out of the way. Though its my first dive into properly integrated mobile apps like for something like this vs what essentially is just a fancy webpage or AR app. |
I also use an apple watch so adding those types of alerts is deffo on the roadmap for me personally :) |
IOS mobile app would be awesome, do you have any plans for desktop and mobile app be synced together? Syncing should help with notifications no matter how far you are from your desktop, but i guess you need add cloud hosting or let users host it themself for this to work. I specifically asked for ntfy.sh or pushover because, you can send alerts/notifications via PUT or POST method over the internet/or locally if they selfhost the app and include a task that you need to start working next in the alert/message. |
I want to explore that at some point but unsure what would be best. Could add a self-hosted service possibly. Once we have some of the other stuff out of the way ill likely start opening up discussion for that moreso but suggestions are always welcome :) |

Notification on desktop seems to be fine if you are right infront of it all the time, say you take break for 5min to get some fresh air and with my ADHD and forgetfulness ill just take forever. Something like integration with ntfy.sh or pushover or apple watch alerts would be a good idea.
