How about indenting a sing line with a hot key?

This frequently happens to me: when I edit a line and want to indent it, I have to go back to the leftmost position and press Tab. And to unindent it I either go back to the leftmost letter and press Shift+Tab or stay where the cursor is and press Shift+Tab many times.

I think we could add a hot key: use Ctrl+Tab to indent a line wherever the cursor is, and Shift+Ctrl+Tab to unindent it anywhere the cursor is.

Please see if it makes sense.

Seems not useful, just press Home then Tab will indent current line.

I understand that. To press Home, then Tab, then come back to the editing position, you have to go several steps.
I know the method to click on the line number to select the whole line and then Tab is a quick way, but I still hope to get a quicker way.
Indentation is one of the most frequently used operations in programming, the quicker to do it the better.
Anyway, Ctrl+Tab and Shift+Ctrl+tab are not assigned to any operations now (at present Ctrl+Tab=Tab), so we really could use them to simplify work.
