    The legacy `MONITORING|` log based approach to send custom metrics from lambda functions has been [deprecated](https://docs.datadoghq.com/integrations/amazon_lambda/?tab=awsconsole#deprecated-using-cloudwatch-logs). Please use the [Datadog Lambda Layer](https://github.com/DataDog/datadog-lambda-layer-js) instead.
