- Thanks to @agheata, ROOT now supports tessellated shapes. These new shapes are now supported by DD4hep including the automatic translation to Geant4. The tessellated shapes feature is only supported when compiling against ROOT 6.20.0 or higher.

trees. Not only for the top element, which should receive a new ID, this top ID was propagated to all children. This was clearly wrong. The correct solution is:- Top element gets a new ID
- Children keep their ID
- If a user wants to preserve the old functionality the flag
DetElement::PROPAGATE_PARENT_ID
must be set in the clone statement.
