Set-up

INSTALL - use pip install -r .\requirements.txt to install required packages (a python version of 3.11 is required)

UPDATE - use pip list --format=freeze > .\requirements.txt to update required packages if more are added

MIGRATE - use python manage.run migrate to migrate all changes

RUN - use python manage.run runserver to turn on the application

API KEY - create a text file named "API_KEY.txt" containing the OpenAI key in the parent directory

Problem

The implementation of a virtual assistant application.

Solution

Through the help of OpenAI and a Django backend we managed to create a web API that allows for the interaction with the virtual assistant
