Release testing instructions for WC Payments 6.4.0
Testing instructions: On a clean site without an WooPayments account
- Click on Payments in the sidebar and see the Welcome page.
- Click on "Finish setup".
- Connect your store to Jetpack.
- Be redirected to Stripe and see to add your mobile phone.
- Without entering your mobile phone, click on "Return to site".
- See the Welcome screen again. Click on "Finish setup" again.
- This time, introduce a mobile phone and go to the next step.
- Verify the phone number with the 2FA code.
- See the "Tell us about your business" screen.
- Choose "United States" and "Individual" and go to the next step.
- See the "Verify your personal details" screen.
- Without entering anything, click on "Return to site" and accept when prompted for confirmation.
- At this time you'll be redirected to the Payments dashboard and your account will appear as "Restricted" with Payments and Deposits as Disabled.
- Make sure you see a task prompting you to finish your registration.
- Click on "Complete registration" and be redirected to the same step that you left in the "Verify your personal details" screen.
- Complete the process in Stripe.
- Be redirected to the Payments dashboard. Confirm the task prompting you to finish the registration is not there and your account status is not "Restricted" anymore.
