If you already have BEAST2 installed, just use the BEAUTI2 add-on manager to add the BDSKY plugin. This automatically downloads the code and example files.

If you haven't installed BEAST2 yet, you can do that here: http://beast2.org.

You can plot your results using the R script.

We now have a BEAUTI template that allows to specify multiple rho-sampling times, that is, mass sampling events at fixed time points. If you'd like to use it, update the BDSKY package in the Addon Manager. Then select "Birth Death Skyline Multi Rho" in BEAUTI. The Rho Sampling times have to be specified in backward time starting from the most recent sample. (Hence, 0. has to be included to represent the sampling event at present.)
