This page outlines all of the data packs available for download. For information on how to download and install these data packs, visit the Installation page.
The worldgen data packs are used to infinitely generate a void world. These should be installed upon creating the world. Only one of these should be installed at a time.
All of these data packs will generate an infinite void world with properties akin to the original SkyBlock. This means all structures (that matter) will generate with their bounding boxes at the same location as if the world with the same seed was generated with normal terrain. For most of the available packs, end portals and sculks sensors generate in the world to allow players to enter the end and obtain sculk. The differences are outlined here, but for more details, visit the Void Worldgen page.
-
The
skyvoid_worldgen
data pack will generate an end portal and sculk sensors around the world. Lava is unobtainable unless the player starts with lava or an alternate way to get lava is implemented. -
The
skyvoid_worldgen_full_lava
data pack will generate a 3x3 pit of lava beneath end portals. -
The
skyvoid_worldgen_single_lava
data pack will generate a single source of lava beneath end portals. -
The
skyvoid_worldgen_portal_room
data pack generate the full stronghold portal room which has 15 lava and a silverfish spawner. -
The
skyvoid_worldgen_empty
data pack generates a fully void world in which no blocks or entities will generate. -
The
skyvoid_worldgen_structures
data pack generates a fully void world except for structures. Structure blocks, entities, and bounding boxes will generate in the world in the same locations as a normal world.
The starter island data packs are used to create an island upon world load. These should be installed upon creating the world. If they are added after one of the worldgen data packs generates the world, an island will not generate. Only one of these should be installed at a time.
-
The
skyvoid_island_standard
data pack generates a standard skyblock island at the world spawn point upon initial world load. A nether island is also created. For more info on the island structures, visit the Standard Skyblock page. -
The
skyvoid_island_oneblock
data pack will generate a single grass block in a snowy taiga biome upon initial world load. For more info on this variant, visit the Vanilla One Block page -
The
skyvoid_island_only_dirt
data pack will generate a classic skyblock island (without the chest or tree) in a snowy taiga biome upon initial world load. This is similar to One Block, but makes the game less grindy since death is not required to progress.
The extra data packs are custom packs that make more things possible or easier. Any of these can be installed alongside each other.
-
The
skyvoid_advancements
data pack rearranges the advancement tabs to better suit skyblock progression and adds some extra advancements. -
The
skyvoid_additions
data pack adds new mechanics to obtain normally unobtainable items and mobs -
The
skyvoid_vanilla_oneblock_starter
data pack will facilitate the start of Vanilla One Block -
The
skyvoid_no_end_ship
data pack will remove the blocks of the end city ships, generating only the shulkers and floating elytra item frame instead. -
The
skyvoid_sand_island
will generate a floating sand island near 0 0 containing a cactus and chest with loot. For more info about the island loot, visit the Sand Island page. -
The
skyvoid_biome_islands
data pack will generate sparse biome-themed islands throughout the world. For more info about the specific islands, visit the Biome Islands page. -
This is a WIP "modded" skyblock experience that relies on Gamemode 4 for custom mechanics.
The worldgen tries to accommodate other data packs. For more info about compatibility with other packs, visit the Compatibility page. Data packs that add or modify biomes are not automatically supported but can be made compatible by installing an additional compatibility pack. The following compatibility patches are available:
-
skyvoid_compat_terralith
-
skyvoid_compat_nullscape
-
skyvoid_compat_amplified_nether
