ChatGPT Computer Use Skill

Here is a skill to help ChatGPT Work/Codex's Computer use plugin with OmniWM using its CLI. Tested with a secondary monitor and multiple workspaces. Feel free to use/modify! Wasn't sure where else to put this so if there's a better place I'll do that and close this issue.

I have only used the Niri style layouts so it's only been written for that so far.

Wow nice this will be very helpful as I do have in mind to add a way for users to utilize either local apple's AI for privacy or their own Claude or for subscription and be able to create scripts or change settings etc with simple natural language I'll be sure to take a look at it

@BarutSRB This has been updated with some improvements for uninterrupted work between agents using apps and the user working on the same monitor as well as multiple monitor setups.

Problem: Agents launching Chrome, test builds, or other macOS apps could unexpectedly steal focus, switch OmniWM workspaces or monitors, and disrupt typing or screen sharing.

Solution: Expanded both the OmniWM skill and global AGENTS.md because the skill provides the detailed window-management workflow, while the global rule ensures agents remember to use it even during Playwright, browser automation, and app testing that might not otherwise trigger the skill.
Agents now preserve the active window before GUI work, prefer non-activating automation (i.e. playwright headless), rapidly restore stolen focus through OmniWM CLI, and contain only newly created automation windows without moving or closing existing user windows. The setup is portable, automatically installable, and independently verifiable.
