In 2014 I was hired at CaseWallet, now called Token, as an embedded systems software engineer to develop and produce one of the earliest bitcoin hardware wallets. However, the majority of my time at Token has been spent working on wearable tech for identity and authentication.
In addition to my work at Token, I have had the privilege of holding two internship positions at NASA. First as a research associate at the NASA Langley Research Center, then as a software engineer at the NASA Glenn Research Center.

I attended the Rochester Institute of Technology where I obtained my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Computer Engineering. My master’s thesis research covered the effective use of High level synthesis for FPGAs, targeting a software defined radio error correction application.
At RIT I was also a part of the space exploration research group, heterogeneous computing research group, and varsity lacrosse team.

Outside of work I can often be found playing games of all kinds, building or learning new things, or traveling and exploring the outdoors. An avid hiker, I’ve had the great privilege of hiking the entire 211 mile John Muir Trail, the Grand Canyon rim to rim, and 45 out of the 46 Adirondack high peaks, with hopefully many more hikes to come!
