Project Description

HydroServer Lite is a hydrological data hosting server. It can be used by research labs, agencies, and other organizations to manage, display and share hydrologic and climate observations. HydroServer Lite is a lightweight version of the CUAHSI HydroServer written in PHP and MySQL. It can be run on any webhosting service that supports PHP and MySQL. It is fully compatible with the CUAHSI Hydrologic Information System including HydroDesktop. The goal of this project is to make it easier to set up your own HydroServer.

Check out a working demo of HydroServer Lite at the BYU World Water Project where there is a running "Sandbox" version of HydroServer Lite for you to explore: http://worldwater.byu.edu
