• Kimi cannot dream at full depth: the 27B training graph keeps every block's activations (25 MB/token; 41.5 GB at window 1536). Gradient checkpointing in ggml-opt

• install: a failed installer operation after teardown leaves the node with NO core running, and never says why

• serving: kv_per_token is a heuristic (weights/80k), 2.5–3.5× the engine's real rate on the 5090 — measure it from device-used deltas at launch and let the footprint prefer the measurement

• serving: an engine that can never satisfy the target window is relaunched every 95 s forever, silently — 35 launches of the 0.5B at -c 91904 (n_ctx_train 32768) on the 5090

• benchmark import mints a card per dispatch for the same instance — astropy-12907 is open 8×, sympy-24152 5× (13 excess cards on one board)

• Windows deploy needs a UAC click every time: the ContinuumCore task action embeds the release slot, so each handoff re-registers the task

• Every on-disk store that resolves the home from a global is one test away from writing the real machine (prefill_rate, decode_knee, served_window_store)

• A citizen solved a benchmark task correctly and it produced ZERO training signal — artifact compiles, card closes, no grade, no ledger entry

• benchmark/dispatch posts a round into a fresh room with no citizens in it, reports full success, and the round never starts

• airc join leaves a permanent bare terminal window on Windows, led by a staleness warning and internals — the most persistent surface of the product looks like scaffolding

• After a Windows Update restart the node stays down and citizens do not resume — no boot-time start, and a manual start finds them on disk but hosts none
