Remote audio playback control system developed for Android devices, employing real-time communication via WebSocket protocol. The application enables the transmission of commands from mobile devices to perimeter audio systems, executing sound alerts associated with structured daily routines and activities (wake up, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, workshop, personal hygiene, sleep).
This project was developed and implemented at one of the facilities of SaludArte, an institution dedicated to comprehensive care as a protected home and residence for individuals in rehabilitation from mental health disorders, located in Bogotá, Colombia. The technological solution aims to facilitate the structuring of daily routines and promote residents' autonomy through programmable audio reminders.
