The MRI quality toolbox is a collection of tools for routine quality assurance (QA) and post-acquisition quality control (QC) in MRI. They are currently mainly oriented towards EPI images (fMRI and DWI). Implemented initially as stand-alone scripts for various purposes, they are now taking advantage of the SPM framework and are gathered as a toolbox for more convenience and reusability. The modular structure of the toolbox makes it possible to extend it with new features and modules.
This wiki is a collection of documentation and information about using the MRI quality toolbox. It is an on-going project that will be updated regularly. Please do not print these pages. This online Wiki is meant to be browsed online!!

EPI TOOLS > Quality assurance
Tools for EPI quality assurance, including SNR and stability estimates, based on the FBIRN protocol.
EPI TOOLS > Quality control > Sequential check
Sequential display of EPI series to detect spikes, artefacts and head movements. Suitable for fMRI time series, resting-state, diffusion-weighted images.
EPI TOOLS > Quality control > Spike check (and correct)
Spike and outlier detection, optional (basic) spike correction.
Automated procedure for spike and outlier detection, optional (basic) spike correction to reduce the spurious variance introduced by spikes in an fMRI time series.
