This is just a comment, but this is a good opportunity for collaboration with the wg-resource-aggregation project to represent these within the tools catalog.

Great work team! Thanks for the hard work you have put into this 💚 I just requested a couple of changes in wording. Once changes are made, consider this PR approved and ready to be merged on my end

Changing members to participants. Under LF ecosystem, the word members can cause confusion, as it typically refers to organizations that sponsor the foundation or project. To date, DRF is a community project with no membership /sponsorship model.

This is an audacious mission for the group! I am curious to know how much curation, evaluation, and aggregation you anticipate doing (vs original work). In addition, are there specific skills or commitments you'd anticipate needing to deliver the group's goals?

Is this item related to establishing funding for further research around areas without engagement data, or about how organizations / DevRel teams can creating funding without being able to prove out that it's needed using engagement data? Either way I think it's valuable, I might just recommend clarifying this point a bit.

Hi @jcleblanc the sub-themes were derived from the foundation's application form when requesting for participants.
I believe @anajsana can provide more clarity on that.
| The charter is looking very solid, nice work. I had one specific line item that I called out, but wanted to add a specific note about the first 6 months of work. The charter lays out a fantastic long-term goal, but I might recommend reducing the scope of what you're going to target a bit for the first iteration. You have callouts for targeting content for specific industries and geographies, which I think is absolutely needed and an ideal north star. You're probably already thinking about this, but I might recommend stack ranking top DevRel industries and operating countries, then working down the list from largest to smallest impact for content specific to industries and geographies. Nice work on this, looks great from my vantage point. |
