Data being stored

  • When you use Tabby Web, your terminal configuration and account settings are stored on the server side.
  • The website uses Google Analytics to count views, but no identifying data (in fact no data except the URL visited) is being sent. No GA code runs in your browser - all communications are done server-side.
  • GDPR: once you log in, the website uses a cookie to link your browser to your active session. By logging in, you consent to that.

How your data is protected

  • Access to your data is as safe as the account you're using to log in.
  • You can enable end-to-end encryption of your config data in Settings -> Vault.

How your data is used

  • I explicitly state that no data is being sold or given to any third parties or used for any purpose other than the functionality of the application itself.

Access

  • Config contents can be reviewed in Settings -> Config file and your account settings in Account Settings, respectively. This is the full extend of the data stored.

Opt-out

  • You can request deletion of all data by contacting me at [email protected] from the e-mail you've used for sign-up.

Canary Statement

  • I have never been approached by law enforcement with an intent to obtain access to users' private data.
