Goal: Identify the focus of the Riskstorming activity.
Briefly discuss the workflow and focus of the Riskstorming activity. Identify the steps below. Define the scope of what we will be thinking about. Explain how each step flows into the next and what we expect to get.
Goal: Identify X main quality aspects for the focus.
Only pick X quality aspects. Narrow down the list to this amount. Openly discuss. Pick your favorite method to gain consensus on the appropriate quality aspects. Use a list of “-ilities” or other tools for determining quality aspects. Options: Ranking, dot voting, Delphi method, Nominal Group Technique, stepladder technique
Goal: Identify risks related to the quality aspects selected for different areas of the system.
Based on the quality aspects selected, what are the risks to those aspects being true? What threatens those aspects? Add notes around the focus to identify risks, where they might be, and what they are relevant to, and discuss.
Goal: Group similar risks or categorize risks that have some similarities.
Categorize similar groups of risks as best you can. Keep it brief.
Goal: Identify risks that have a high impact or may need high-priority
Determine and mark things that have a high impact or high priority based on discussions. Keep it brief.
