I suppose it's possible not everyone would like this, but I certainly do. ;-) (But I already use a browser extension for it, fwiw.)
Both auto-repeat and accidentally scrolling to another video are such gigantic anti-features I can't grasp why anyone would implement something like that. And initially that ridiculous shorts interface didn't even allow scrubbing.
