VerifKey - Module for verifing license keys in Python

DO NOT USE THIS. IT WAS BROKEN, ITS STILL BROKEN AND WILL BE BROKEN FOREVER BECAUSE I DONT WANT TO UPDATE IT. THE MODULE ISNT BROKEN ITSELF, JUST THE INSTALLER. BUT I DONT WANT TO SUPPORT THIS. THIS WAS MADE LESS THAN A YEAR AGO (when i wrote that) BUT I EVOLVED AND THIS SHOULD NOT BE USED ANYMORE. CODE RELEASED UNDER THE UNLICENSE.

Now in version 2 ! Please use VerifKey_installer.py file to install VerifKey in the latest version.

WARNING : Don't try to install the module using pip, it's NOT working ! The setuptools file I made does not works ! Just copy / download the VerifKey.py on your programm folder. See issue #1 to know how to install this module. (See NOTE to download)

Installation is now fixed ! To install it, download and run the file VerifKey_installer.py.

How to use ?

1. Import it to your programm using : import VerifKey

You can use this code to convert "verifkey" to "verifKey" : verifkey = VerifKey

Or : import VerifKey as verifkey

2. Generate a key list : To generate a key list, you can write your own programm or use verifkey to generate a list (printed with print() and writed into "keys.txt") : Default specs : Key lenght : 20 chars Charset : a-z A-Z 0-9 Use this command to generate a list : VerifKey.keyGenerator(amountOfKeysYouWant) replace amountOfKeyYouWant by a digit (not into a string !)

3. Upload the key list. You can upload it on PasteBin, this module is compatible with every service who allow raw text.

4.If you use PasteBin, save only the "pastecode" (if you have the link https://pastebin.com/aaa the pastecode is aaa) and write this command to convert it to a link : link = VerifKey.getPB(pastecode)

Replace pastecode by a string and into it insert your pastecode.

5. Get user input key : For basics programms, you can use input() : key = input("Write your key here -> ")

6. Verify the key : Use : validity = VerifKey.verify(link, userkey)

Replace :

• link by your link or your pastebin generated link.
• userkey by the user's key.

7. You will got into the returned variable an boolean value :

• True : the key is correct
• False : the key is wrong

NOTE : The keys are automaticly encrypted with SHA512 !

NOTE : You can download the ZIP only on PC. ZIP can be downloaded with : Code -> Download with HTTPS as ZIP. You can download the VerifKey file without all others files by clicking this link (It can does not work on some browsers, so just copy the code and paste it on a new programm, save it as VerifKey.py)
