About the PR

Updated the MercVend with already pre-existing items to bring it out of the wayside of uselessness. Rejoice, for now a large portion of weapons are accessible via Merc Coins!

Also re-admemed the Forktail, bug-fixed a few weapons that were problematic while I was at it, and added some mags that were otherwise near unobtainable outside of being lucky AF that had no right to be that way.

Yes this is only Part 1.
There's more to come after this, but this is the largest part really of this series of updates. As this one entirely focused on simply adding in what was already in-game. The rest of the parts will be majority, adding in new items. So don't expect Part 2 and beyond to release in a quick time-span.

Why / Balance

The MercVend has been majorly left un-updated for the new weapons added to the server. So with approval from the Director's and their oversight. Made this update for the community.

It gives people access to a massive collection of items and weapons, so all of their prices have been accounted for via their rarity, overall strength, and ease of use. So if a weapon appears to be over-priced, it may be wise to test it out with different ammo or situations. You might be surprised.

Also Luxury Mining Hardsuit 🤣

Technical details

Adds a massive backlog of items that needed to be added. Alongside just... So much stuff.
Check the "Files Changed" for the real meat of what this update does.

How to test

  • Go to MercVend

Breaking changes

Nothing is broken so I've seen and tested. I pray it stays this way once it hits the live server.

Changelog
🆑

  • add: Part 1 of the Mega-Update to the MercVend. Giving it a large majority of new utility, armors, weapons, etc. To its catalog for reasonable-ish prices.
  • add: Magazines that were otherwise nearly unobtainable or rare as hell to the list of printable mags at their respective lathes.
  • fix: PMC C-20r to make a return as a C2 King of end-game SMGs.
  • fix: Forktail to finally be admeme again. Rejoice admins.

Updated to match the merged PR's from upstream.
[ Changes how the in-file code around it are organized, adds the mining hardsuits, and adds the upgradeable backpacks ]
[ Finishes off adding all the Utility Items, and updates the Seclight and Stun Baton to C1 (There's no reason these should have been C2 in the first place, they're utility/non-lethal) ]
[ Adds all the armor I wanted to add, alongside finishes off the new printable ammo with Jackdaw Mags & Cobra Mag's now bring printable ]
[ Updated a some weapons to be C2 sense other weapons of similar caliber are also C2, Added all the guns already present in-game to the Vender that are worthy of being in there. Mostly C1/C2 weapons, fixed the new printable mags a wee bit, updated the copyright for the 25x59mm round, also fixes some error's in past commits with the round of bug-testing done in this commit ]
[ Balances out the Merc Coin cost of all the new items around varrious varriables ]

This should probably be the PMC 550

There's no difference between the PMC 550 and the normal 550. Though giving it the same description does go a long way :3

So thanks.

Edit: My brain didn't process this properly. Yea. No. There's no difference between the two, so there's no need to overcomplicate things. So no need to change it IMO.

As. The main thing that dictated for me if a PMC Weapon was included or not. Was if it changed something over its base form to be better/the same but Merc C2.

If the answer is no. I simply used its base instead. No reason to overcomplicate or nerf a weapon when its Base Form was perfectly fine to begin with 👍

Felt like the SVT might be a bit too strong. So you got its simi-auto Mosin cousin.

I'll double check it again tho.

Yea so sadly given the accuracy, fire-rate, and damage it does. I'll have to keep it excluded for now.
