This PR introduces the necessary infrastructure and containerization components to enable container-based development, orchestration, and automated deployment.
🚀 Key Changes:
Dockerization:
Added multi-stage
Dockerfile
for the Frontend (using Nginx to serve the build).
Added
Dockerfile
for the Backend Node.js service.
Added
.dockerignore
files for both services.
Orchestration:
Added
docker-compose.yml
to run the Frontend, Backend, and MongoDB locally.
Kubernetes Manifests:
Created k8s/base/ with Deployments, Services, and PersistentVolumeClaims for Frontend, Backend, and MongoDB.
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform):
Added terraform/ with basic AWS VPC configuration to support future cloud deployment.
CI/CD (GitHub Actions):
Added .github/workflows/main.yml to automate testing (Jest/Vitest) and build/push Docker images to GHCR on master branch updates.
