@tegk Thanks for doing this! This will make its way into master, but not until the next major version is released, due to some backwards-incompatible changes. With that said, I don't expect to wait too long before v3 comes out. I'll keep you updated. |

I linted with golangci-lint run --enable-all and resolved issues that made sense.
