Great to see some activity here!
We've been using a small fork. (https://github.com/sandec/scenic-view)
I've added the most important change to this PR. (The rest was only to make the build and publish work)
It would be great if it could get merged!
It doesn't add any dependency. It just has a new method to start, and I removed the Javadoc tab when JPro is used.
It would also be really great if the jar could be published to Maven Central.
