A: There seems to be an issue with the latest Python version removing the distutils package. To fix this, you can run this command in your terminal:
pip install setuptools
After this, it should work as normal.
A: First of all, make sure you have Python installed. If you don't, you can download the installer from the official Python website. I would recommend watching this 2-minute tutorial on how to properly install Python.
After it's installed, follow these steps:
- Open the project folder from GitHub in your file explorer
- Right-click anywhere inside that folder and choose the "Open in Terminal" option
- Run these two commands in order:
pip install -r requirements.txt
python gui.py
Note: You only need to run the first command (pip install -r requirements.txt
) once.
To run the app again in the future:
- Open the project folder
- Right-click to open in terminal
- Run the command:
python gui.py
- python-fasthtml
- ytmusicapi
- thefuzz
- requests
- undetected_chromedriver
- selenium
- threading
- dataclasses
- urllib
- json
- os
- time
