If the Spotify link does not open the web page automatically

This could be happening due to a number of reasons, but more than likely, something is preventing it from properly starting the web server.

This is relatively simple to work around:

Step One:

Make sure log to file is enabled: (hit apply after)

Step Two:

Select file in the menu bar and then Open debug log:

Step Three:

Begin the linking process by pressing the Link Spotify button as normal. Then click on the window of your text editor with the debug log open. You should see the URL for the Spotify link appear at the bottom. (You may need to refresh it.)

Step Four:

Open the url in a browser. After hitting Agree on the authorization page, it should bring you to a This site can’t be reached page:

Click on the URL bar and copy everything after code=:

Step five:

Back in OSC Chat Tools, select the Manual Code Entry button, then paste in the code you just copied. Press enter when done.

Step Six:

You may have to relaunch the program after this or if it doesn't work the first time, try again!
