Hi, I’m Luc Bennett — a cybersecurity analyst, software developer, and active CTF competitor.
- 🎓 Studied Mathematics, Computer Science, and Cognitive Systems at the University of British Columbia.
- 🥓 Member of Maple Bacon – UBC’s CTF team and one of Canada’s strongest competitors.
- 🦅 Member of US Cyber Team 2025 – representing the United States in international cybersecurity competitions.
I’ve competed in 20+ CTFs individually and with teams, including:
- US Cyber Open 2025 – 8th place out of ~1300 players
- picoCTF 2023 – 9th place individual (11,751 players) / 5th place undergraduate (4,514 players)
- picoCTF 2022 – 166th overall / 40th undergraduate (12,156 players)
- US Cyber Open 2022 – 32nd place individual (1,470 players)
- SeeTF 2022 – 69th place (780 players)
- CSAW CTF Finals 2022 – represented UBC’s Maple Bacon at NYU
