This folder contains the simulation codes for the paper:

"Downmodulation of potassium conductances induces epileptic seizures in cortical network models via multiple synergistic factors" by ECY Ho, AJH Newton, E Urdapilleta, S Dura-Bernal and W Truccolo (2025).

Each subdirectory contains the codes for a particular set of simulations that appeared in the paper, as indicated by the name of the subdirectory. For example, "Brown-mauve-magenta-sims-Figs-6-7-8-9" indicates the network simulations that appeared in Figs 6,7, 8 and 9 and were brown, mauve or magenta coloured.

In each sub-directory representing network simulations, "headScript.sh" is the BASH shell script that provides the parameters of the simulation.

In the "Single-sims" sub-directory, "PrepScript_FS.sh" is the shell script that provides the parameters for single neuron simulation of the inhibitory interneuron model, and "PrepScript_PY.sh" is the script that provides the parameters for the pyramidal cell model.
