I've got a handy script for you that helps download and manage llamafiles.

It's pretty simple, but it definitely gets the job done!

We can definitely improve it later if we want to, let me know how it sounds?

I really appreciate you sending this. It's a tough review. We currently have plans to have a downloader be part of the llamafile program itself rather than a shell script, so it can run on all OSes. This script would also require that we start administrating a llamafile zoo on llamafile.ai, which as it stands currently is just using a forwarding service to this GitHub. We currently don't have plans to create a platform or distribute independently of Hugging Face. Those are better questions for @stlhood.

Makes sense, but shell scripts can cover most of the OSs these days?

This script would also require that we start administrating a llamafile zoo on llamafile.ai

Well, now really, we can redirect the URL to raw github src?
