Book Herbs Renewable Resources
Back to Herbs.
All herbs in Roots are renewable.
One of the simplest methods is simply to recreate the herb in a Pyre. However, this may become expensive over time.
Every herb can either be grown on farmland or elemental soil as a renewable crop, or has a ritual associated with it that creates more of this resource.
The simplest two examples are Wildroot and Terra Moss.
Wildroot can immediately be planted on tilled farmland, and can even be grown with Bone Meal (although the Growth Infusion spell is recommended in its place).
Large amounts of Terra Moss can be created through the Ritual of Overgrowth. This ritual requires a Pyre and some Terra Moss to begin with, as well as cobblestone or other suitable blocks near water.
The Overgrowth Ritual is one especially suited for automation. A single cobblestone block combined with a dispenser with hopper atop (pointed to a chest) and a knife inside, as well as a fast redstone clock, will most likely produce what you need and more.
For everything else, integration with Just Enough Resources and Just Enough Items should give you a fair idea of where to find more of a specific plant.
Check to see if it can be converted into a seed form and then planted, or if it can be directly planted on elemental soil.
