Does Unison still support MPI?

May I ask if Unison still supports distributed acceleration? NS-3 itself supports distributed simulation acceleration; so is it possible to achieve distribution based on Unison to further increase simulation speed? Is such an implementation convenient? Will Unison affect the previous distributed configuration of NS-3?

Unison still supports distributed simulation via MPI and hybrid simulation that utilize both multithreading and MPI. You can checkout the hybrid simulation example in src/mpi/examples/fat-tree-hybrid.cc.

• configure: --enable-mtp --enable-mpi --enable-exaples
• run: ./ns3 run fat-tree-hybrid --command-template "mpirun -np 2 %s --thread=2"
