Description

The PR improves the DLPack stride validation, ensuring compliance with DLPack v1.2 and later.
We originally targeted DLPack v1 compatibility. The new specification adds the following constrain:

  • DLPack v1.2+: nullptr is not considered valid.
  • < v1.2: nullptr indicates contiguous storage.
